How to use The Livestock Answer® for Poultry:

Add 2.5 lbs (1.134 kg) of The Livestock Answer® to 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg) of mixed dry feed and blend well.

The Livestock Answer® can be mixed into the feed rations by the feed supplier.

Enzymes are proteins that work within specific ranges of temperature and pH. For maximum effectiveness, The Livestock Answer® should not be processed in feed rations at temperatures exceeding 120o F, nor where there is copper sulfate or other additives that can negatively affect enzyme activity, e.g. vinegar, citric acid, vaccines or antibiotics. Pesticide residues that remain on some feed can inhibit or hamper the animal's enzyme function. The Livestock Answer® is, however, compatible with vitamin and mineral electrolytes.



How to use The Bio-Compost Answer® for Poultry:

The Bio-Compost Answer® is formulated to speed the bio-remediation of animal waste and other organic waste (such as dead birds, etc.) by stimulating the increase in number, activity, and output of the beneficial microbial life already present in compost pile waste, lagoons and litter.

Fog or mist the facility and litter.
Use The Poultry Answer® when birds are present, and The Bio-Compost Answer® when birds are not present. Both products contain high amounts of oxygen in the forms of dissolved oxygen (DO) and free oxygen (O2), to neutralize odor-causing anaerobic life forms through oxidation saturation.

Add The Carbon-Compost Answer® to fogging and misting dilutions for facilities with collection pits to boost microbial action within the pits and improve the carbon to nitrogen ratio in the liter, thereby assisting in the reduction of amonia produced In cage layer barns with collection pits, add 3.4 fl oz of The Carbon Answer® to 32 fl oz of clean water and apply weekly per 1.3 yd3 of layer manure.

CAUTION: Too much moisture applied to litter may cause an increase in ammonia in the litter. Consult your Distributor for the recommended dilution rates for your situation.



Safeguard The Effectiveness

Enzymes are proteins that work within specific ranges of temperature and pH. For maximum effectiveness, apply The Bio-Compost Answer® with water that has less than 1ppm chlorine, and is within a pH range of 6.0 to 8.5. The Bio-Compost Answer® is compatible with most soil and composting amendments, but additives that negatively affect enzyme and microbial activity (e.g. herbicides, pesticides, etc.) will negate the positive effects.

Optimum microbial activity takes place when compost has a 20% moisture content. Because The Bio-Compost Answer® activates and stimulates "indigenous" micro-organisms which are already acclimatized to the temperatures of the area, and because the microbial activity itself creates 'heat', The Bio-Compost Answer® continues to create microbial activity even during the winter when air temperatures may be below freezing. Excessive heat, however, will destroy microbes.
